In an effort to reduce the generational gaps within our church family, the Children's & Youth Council has created a program called "Secret Prayer Pals".  The Council is in need of volunteers who are willing to commit to pray for a young member of this family.  You will be given a fact sheet containing their name, birthdate, a recent photo, and other information that will enable you to be more familiar with theri lives.  Perhaps you could anonymously send birthday cards and notes of encouragement just to remind your "prayer pal" that someone is out there who cares and is praying for him or her.  At some point, when your committment time is up, we'll host a celebration during which each youngster will discover the identity of their Secret Prayer Pal.  Then volunteers will pick new partners and we'll start all over again.
